About

Deep tech that makes infrastructure smart.

Spondbyte Technologies is a deep-tech IoT enabler building edge AI, sensor networks, robotics, and command-layer software for governments and enterprises. We started with urban mobility and are expanding into industrial IoT, defence, and environmental intelligence.

What we do

Three pillars

Deep Tech & AI

Edge inference, computer vision, and machine learning models trained and hardened for Indian conditions: monsoon, dust, 55 °C ambient, unpredictable road behaviour.

IoT Infrastructure

Sensor networks, V2I communications, and real-time data pipelines. One vertically integrated stack from the field device to the command console.

Robotics & Automation

Autonomous sensing, automated enforcement response, and a forward robotics programme. Removing humans from the loop where speed and consistency matter.

Markets

Sectors we serve

Live

Smart Cities & Urban Mobility

Signal synchronisation, V2I enforcement, and real-time traffic management across municipal corridors.

Live

Highways & Transport

Corridor surveillance, incident detection, VMS, and command-centre integration for national and state highways.

Expanding

Industrial IoT

Edge sensing and automated monitoring for manufacturing, logistics yards, and warehouse operations.

Expanding

Defence & Critical Infra

Perimeter sensing, intrusion detection, and secure command-layer software for defence and critical infrastructure.

Live

Environmental Intelligence

Distributed air-quality and weather sensor networks with real-time dashboards and CPCB-compliant reporting.

Founder

Why Spondbyte exists

India doesn't have a traffic problem. It has an infrastructure intelligence problem.

Every day, we lose time, safety, and efficiency — not because systems don't exist, but because they don't talk to each other. Most solutions are imported, fragmented, and not designed for how our cities actually function. We started Spondbyte to change that.

What we're building

We began with Spondit — a traffic signal controller that communicates with vehicles, other signals, and command centres in real time. But very quickly, it became clear: this wasn't just a traffic product. It was the foundation of something larger — a unified layer where infrastructure can sense, communicate, and respond.

Today, we are building an integrated ecosystem: intelligent traffic and mobility systems, surveillance and environmental sensing, smart lighting and EV infrastructure, command and control platforms, and AI-driven fleet and industrial observability. Every system connects to the same underlying fabric.

What this enables

When infrastructure starts communicating: emergency vehicles move faster through cities. Traffic adapts dynamically instead of staying static. Authorities see and respond to incidents in real time. Citizens receive meaningful, timely information. This is not optimisation. This is coordination at scale.

Data democracy

I believe infrastructure data should not sit in silos. It should be open, accessible, and useful to the people it serves. When a city understands itself — street by street, signal by signal — it can operate with clarity, speed, and accountability. When a commuter gets a fog warning before entering a highway, when a traffic authority can see every signal and every incident on one screen — that's data working for the public good.

Where we're going

Our goal is simple: every piece of public infrastructure should be connected, intelligent, and accountable. We're not there yet. But every corridor we deploy, every command centre we integrate, and every city we work with moves us closer.
